Terms of Service

1. About TradeSub

TradeSub ("we", "us", "our") is a software platform that enables UK tradespeople ("Tradespeople") to offer monthly subscription plans to their customers ("Subscribers"). TradeSub is operated by TradeSub Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TradeSub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. We may update these terms at any time and will notify you by email of material changes.

3. Tradesperson Accounts

To use TradeSub as a tradesperson, you must:

• Be a legitimate UK-based tradesperson operating legally
• Provide accurate business information during onboarding
• Complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payments
• Hold any relevant trade certifications required by law (e.g. Gas Safe registration)
• Be at least 18 years of age

4. Platform Fees

TradeSub charges a 10% platform fee on all subscription payments processed through the platform. This fee is deducted automatically via Stripe Connect at the time of each transaction. A one-time setup fee of £39 applies to new tradesperson accounts. All fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

5. Payments and Stripe Connect

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By using TradeSub, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Terms of Service. TradeSub is not responsible for payment failures, chargebacks, or disputes between Tradespeople and their Subscribers. Payouts are subject to Stripe's payout schedule and terms.

6. Subscriber Relationships

The subscription agreement is between the Tradesperson and their Subscriber. TradeSub acts solely as a technology platform and is not a party to any service agreement between Tradespeople and Subscribers. Tradespeople are solely responsible for delivering the services described in their subscription plans.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use TradeSub to:

• Offer services you are not qualified or licensed to provide
• Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal activity
• Spam or send unsolicited communications to customers
• Violate any applicable UK laws or regulations
• Interfere with the operation of the platform

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time and will retain access until the end of their current billing period. TradeSub does not issue refunds for partial months. Tradespeople may cancel their TradeSub account at any time; existing Subscriber relationships must be honoured until the end of the billing period.

9. Intellectual Property

TradeSub and its content, features, and functionality are owned by TradeSub Ltd and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeSub Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you to TradeSub in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
